If you’d love to score some Washington Capitals merch at a deep discount, you’re in luck. The team will host a “garage sale” on Saturday, September 20, at MedStar Capitals Iceplex in Arlington.
The sale will feature Capitals items and prior game giveaways, including bobbleheads, T-shirts, posters, and hats. Proceeds from the sale will benefit Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation, the official charity of the Capitals.
In addition to the sale of merchandise benefiting MSE Foundation, the Capitals will also be selling pro stock sticks, helmets, gloves, pant shells, and more (proceeds of the equipment sale do not benefit the foundation).
Season ticket members will have early access to the sale from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The garage sale will then be open to the general public from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fans are asked to RSVP online, but this is not required for entry. Payment will be accepted by credit card only.
The sale is taking place in the midst of the Capitals 18th training camp at MedStar Capitals Iceplex. All on-ice sessions are free and open to the public.
