Find Deep Discounts at the Annual Alexandria Sidewalk Sale

The popular event includes dozens of Old Town retailers, many of which are extending the sale throughout the entire weekend.

Bargain shoppers, take note: The annual Alexandria Sidewalk Sale returns August 9. One of the longest-running seasonal summer shopping events in NoVA, the sale includes dozens of independent Alexandria boutiques offering deeply discounted summer merchandise.

This year marks the 16th for the popular event. Participating Alexandria Sidewalk Sale retailers will be showcasing their wares outside of their storefronts. Merchandise will include women’s, men’s, and kids’ apparel, shoes, home decor, books, and athletic wear.

Some of the store discounts include:

  • 3 Sisters will have select clothing racks marked at $20 to $30.
  • Boxwood is offering discounts from 25 percent to 75 percent off home decor, gifts, and more.
  • Del Ray Artisans is offering free outdoor herbal tea plus more than 40 percent off on upcycled bags made from art exhibit banners.
  • Eliana Curated is offering 10 percent off waterproof jewelry, a free gift with a $50+ purchase, and a $25 sale section.

Thirty-one Old Town businesses will extend the sale for three days of deals, from August 8 through August 10. These include 529 Kids Consign, King’s Jewelers, Red Barn Mercantile, Friends to Lovers, Eries Interiors, and The Lucky Knot.

Sale details, including days and hours for each store can be found online at Visit Alexandria.
