Middleburg’s Annual Summer Sidewalk Sale Is Back

Area businesses will offer special deals on clothing, home décor, and accessories.

By Debbie Williams July 25, 2025 at 7:00 am

Mark your calendars: Middleburg’s annual summer sidewalk sale is right around the corner. From August 1 to 3, dozens of retailers on Washington Street, Madison Street, and Federal Street will be offering discounts on products displayed along the town’s tree-lined sidewalks.

The 19th annual summer sidewalk sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday. Sunday hours will vary by shop.

Stores will be offering deals on shoes, jewelry, accessories, adult and children clothing, home décor, and pet products. Restaurants and lodging will also offer specials. The Red Fox Inn, Goodstone Inn, and Salamander Resort & Spa are accepting reservations.

Colorful balloons will be located outside participating summer sidewalk sale stores. These include Crème de la Crème, Zest, Lou Lou Too, Country Classics, Lucky Knot, Tilley’s Pet Supplies, The Christmas Sleigh, Mystique Jewelers, Brick & Mortar Mercantile, Nature Composed, Middleburg Books, and Hastening Antiques and Design.

Emmanuel Episcopal Church will also be hosting Emmanuel’s Treasures, a sale featuring new and used household items, furniture, and more. The Tack Box and the Middleburg Tack Exchange will be offering discounts on equestrian-related products such as riding gear and gifts. And the National Sporting Library & Museum on The Plains Road will host a duplicate book sale.
