The Barnes & Noble at Clarendon Market Commons is planning a remodel that will result in less square footage. And it’s currently offering deep discounts to sell off extra inventory.
The Arlington store is offering merchandise at discounted prices through May 23. Shoppers can take advantage of 25 precent off or more on everything at the store. This includes sales on books, games, and vinyls.
After May 23, the store will be temporary closed for renovations.
Barnes & Noble Clarendon Plus Three Notch’d Brewing Company
ARLnow reported that the Virginia-based brewery Three Notch’d Brewing Company plans to occupy 10,160 square feet of Barnes & Noble’s current first floor. The bookseller will consolidate into the remaining 14,041 square feet above the brewery.
This will be Three Notch’d Brewing’s second location that also features an axe-throwing area. The new space will also include a full taproom, liquor store, and whiskey distillery. The menu will include American bar staples such as pretzels and burgers.
The Charlottesville-based brewery also has locations in Richmond, Virginia Beach, Roanoke, Harrisonburg, and Nelson County.
An escalator and elevator are also in the plans, connecting the Barnes & Noble to the brewery for easy access to both spaces.
