A plan to revitalize the Cascades Marketplace shopping center in Sterling has created a wide roster of new and upcoming openings. Here’s all the new spots you can expect to be joining the shopping center soon.
New at Cascades

CHīKO
Cascades Marketplace is now home to the fifth location of CHīKO, a fast-casual Chinese Korean eatery. Alongside a menu of CHīKO’s signature dishes, the Cascades location will be the first to include a full-service bar offering craft cocktails and wine. 46308 Cranston St.

Taco Bamba
The popular NoVA-based chain Taco Bamba is now dishing out creations in Cascades with the opening of its first Loudoun County location. No two Taco Bamba restaurants are the same, so the new Cascades establishment will be sure to have some creative offerings on the menu. 20968 Southbank St.
Coming Soon to Cascades
Activate Games
The interactive gaming venue Activate Games has signed a deal to join the Cascades Marketplace shopping center in the spot adjacent to Taco Bamba. Players can expect adventure-filled games that challenge them, like maneuvering through a room full of laser beams or crossing a room without stepping on certain tiles.
Brasserie Royale
Chef Michael Stebner, creator of Local Provisions, which joined Cascades in 2023, has plans to open a second restaurant right next door called Brasserie Royale. The French restaurant will serve dishes such as smoked salmon and boeuf bourguignon.
Mezeh Mediterranean Grill
The addition of a Mezeh Mediterranean Grill to Cascades is in the works. The mediterranean-inspired restaurant serves customizable grain bowls with fresh ingredients.
Paris Baguette
With two restaurants open in the county already, Paris Baguette seems to have plans to become a Loudoun staple. A new deal will bring a third location of the French- and Asian-inspired bakery and cafe to Cascades.

Shake Shack
The burger chain Shake Shack will take over the lot where a McDonald’s once stood. It is expected to open later this year. 20961 Southbank St.
