J.Crew Factory Planned for Tysons Strip Center

The discount clothing store known for its classic clothes filed permits for a new store.

It looks like a J.Crew Factory store could open in Tysons in the Pike 7 Plaza.

The company has filed permit applications with Fairfax County, FFX Now reports.

The 4,433-square-foot discount clothing store at 8387 Leesburg Pk. would be located between grocer Lidl and shoe store DSW, FFX Now said.

J.Crew Factory stores are an offshoot of the original J.Crew stores. J.Crew Factory describes its clothing as an “exclusive collection of colorful, classic styles at prices that can’t be beat.” It’s known for its preppy-inspired outfits.

According to Offers.com, the J.Crew Factory stores sell similar clothing to what J.Crew sells, and the clothing is made specifically for those stores. The prices are much lower, but the quality may not be as high.

Another J.Crew Factory store opened this summer at Fairfax’s Fair Lakes Shopping Center, and there are stores in Alexandria’s Potomac Yard, Gainesville’s Virginia Gateway, Potomac Mills, and Leesburg Premium Outlets.

J.Crew has stores in Reston Town Center, Pentagon City, and Tysons Galleria.

There’s no word when the new Tysons store may open.
