Apparel chain Primark opens its first Virginia store next week in Tysons Corner Center.
The store will be the first of two Northern Virginia stores for the international retailer. The other will be in Potomac Mills in Woodbridge.
The 35,000-square-foot Tysons store is located near Bloomingdale’s.
Primark sells affordable women’s, men’s, and kids’ clothing, as well as beauty products, housewares, and accessories. The Tysons location gives Primark 25 stores in 10 U.S. states and more than 445 stores globally.
The Dublin-based chain opened last year in Maryland’s Arundel Mills Mall and plans to open another store in Hyattsville, Maryland.
“We’ve seen a growing demand for more Primark stores across the DMV area and especially in the Washington, D.C. metro area,” said Kevin Tulip, president of Primark U.S., in a news release. “We’re ready to open our doors in Tysons to bring ‘Primania’ to even more U.S. shoppers, with many Virginia shoppers able to explore the store for the first time.”
At the Tysons store, shoppers will find Washington Wizards and Washington Commanders apparel starting at $14. T-shirts will be priced as low as $4.50 and denim as low as $10.
