How important are the finer things in life to you? Virginia ranks No. 6 when it comes to searches for luxury items on Google, according to Google Trend Insights data gathered by jewelry company Glamira.
The data looked at the level of interest there was for nine search trends that included “luxury jewelry,” “luxury goods,” “luxury vacation,” “luxury hotels,” and “luxury cars.”
Virginia tied with Georgia for the No. 6 spot, with an average luxury score of 57.78 out of 100, according to the RobbReport.
Searches from DC took the top spot with a score of 78.71, followed by New York (75.56), and Florida (60.89). New Jersey and Connecticut rounded out the top five, at 60.22 and 59.11, respectively.
California, the only state not on the East Coast, came in seventh (57.33). Neighboring Maryland came in eighth (56.11).
