This fall, Saturdays in NoVA are made for retail therapy.
The Town of Vienna just launched Vienna Shop & Stroll, an initiative to highlight designated shopping centers and meet local business owners, with safe and socially-distanced seasonal activities and in-store promotions now through December.
It all kicks off on Saturday, Oct. 24 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Vienna Shopping Center, located in the center of town at 180 Maple Ave.. There will be two, free 30-minute pop-up concerts at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. from the Washington National Opera via their pop-up concert truck, with capacity limited to 50 attendees per performance. Merchants will also offer discounts and promotions including 20% off purchases at Ben & Jerry’s, BOGO at Foster’s Grille (excluding wings), 20% discount on the Winter Break Camp at Stemtree Education and 10% off purchases $20 or more and a free cup of coffee with a minimum four donut purchase at Viva Sol Juice Co.
The campaign continues Nov. 7 at Danor Plaza, Nov. 14 at Cedar Park, Nov. 21 at JadesShopping Center + Vienna Plaza, Nov. 28 with a Small Biz Saturday on Church Street and the surrounding streets off Church, Dec. 5 at Village Green and finishing on Dec. 12 at Glyndon Plaza. All events will run noon to 4 p.m.
