Fairfax County Police detectives are asking for help in identifying a male suspect believed to be responsible for multiple burglaries in the same Centreville neighborhood. In each case, he entered the homes through an unsecured door and was fully nude.

The suspect is described as a Black male, light or medium complexion, between 5’9” and 5’10” with an average build.

Burglary Incidents

FCPD says the same suspect is responsible for the following incidents. These homes were all within about a half mile range of one another.

  • March 5 at 5:15 a.m. in the 14800 block of Bodley Square: The victim was getting ready for work when the suspect entered a bedroom inside the home and fled the residence when confronted.
  • March 6 at 5:30 a.m. in the 14800 block of Leicester Court: A resident discovered a footprint on a trash can that had been moved against a fence and is believed to have been used to climb into the back yard. Evidence indicated an attempted burglary at the residence.
  • March 7 at 4:30 a.m. in the 14700 block of Ealing Court: The victim was awakened by her dog barking and observed the male suspect, fully nude, inside the residence before he fled.
  • March 8 at 3:30 a.m. in the 6300 block of Paddington Lane: The victim heard footsteps in the hallway and observed the suspect, fully nude, standing in a doorway before he fled.

Detectives are asking residents to check home and vehicle surveillance footage, particularly during the early morning hours between March 5 and March 8.

Anyone with information can call the Sully District Station at 703-814-7000 and ask to speak with a detective. Tips can also be submitted anonymously online or by phone at 1-866-411-8477.
