Higher taxes, program cuts likely in Arlington County’s 2020 fiscal budget; Dunkin’ Donuts shortens name to just Dunkin’

Arlington County’s 2020 fiscal budget starting July 2019 is expected to increase taxes and slash funding for a number of programs. County Manager Mark Schwartz, who has worked for the county for 13 years, said in a statement, “This is going to be the most challenging budget year yet in my tenure with the county.”

In an effort to focus on its coffee and drink offerings, Dunkin’ Donuts has announced that it will drop the latter part of its name, rebranding as simply Dunkin’.
