According to an “Arlington Profile 2018” report from earlier this year, between 2020 and 2040, the county hopes to add 24,000 homes. Crystal City alone is expected to add 5,300.

Resisting arrest, a 23-year-old man from Washington, D.C., was caught on camera assaulting a Fairfax County police officer in the 8200 block of Alexandria’s Russell Road on Saturday. The man was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, plus assault on a police officer.
