Presidential debate could sway undecided Virginia voters; Fairfax and Arlington County residents have higher life expectancies than D.C. and Maryland

Presidential nominees Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump faced off in the first general election debate at Hofstra University on Monday. While Clinton maintains a lead in Virginia polls, undecided voters said the first debate would persuade their decisions.

A new report shows that residents in Virginia have higher life expectancies than those who live in D.C. and Maryland. Life expectancy in Fairfax and Arlington counties is 86 years, whereas it’s only 84 and 78 years in Montgomery, D.C. and Prince George’s counties.
