Four local spots in Northern Virginia will be featured among the 12 DMV-area neighborhoods highlighted in the upcoming Season 4 of the popular WETA house-hunting series If You Lived Here, which begins airing on October 28.
The NoVA neighborhoods spotlighted this season are Burke, Fairfax, Occoquan/Lorton, and South Arlington.
Each 30-minute episode will celebrate the history, culture, notable places and atmosphere of each area. This season will showcase 36 distinct properties.
New hosts Jennifer Osborn and Ricardo Frederick Evans will follow in the footsteps of former fan favorites Christine Louise and the late John Begeny.

A Dream Opportunity
No strangers to the area, Evans grew up in the Hillcrest neighborhood of DC, and Osborn has lived in the DC area since 2011.
Evans says his 25 years of experience working in theater and the arts, coupled with a brief stint as a realtor back in 2020, is what really drew him to the gig.
“I have tremendous respect and admiration for real estate agents,” he says.
However, the actuality of being an agent was not the dream for him. What he really loved was touring and exploring homes.
“The chance to host a show like If You Lived Here and get to do just that — without all the paperwork — was a dream job I didn’t know existed,” he says.
And getting to work with a friend turned out to be an added bonus.
“I’ve always thought Jen was dynamic, fearless, and fun as a friend and it has been great getting to know her even better through this experience,” Evans says.
“I was very excited to host the show with Ricardo,” Osborn echoes. “We’ve been friends for a long time and never worked together, so I was honored when he asked me to join him on this journey.”

What to Expect from ‘If You Lived Here’
People who tune in can expect to see a stellar array of homes, learn a few things about some great neighborhoods, and get the inside scoop on what draws people in from top-notch real estate agents who live and work in these places.
“I didn’t expect how competitive I would become playing the guessing game on listing price with Jen but it’s been a blast,” Evans says. “I would encourage people to watch the show with friends and see if they can do a better job guessing the list price without going over.”
Evans also notes that the history segments are one of his favorite parts of the show.
“It felt incredible to be immersed in it all,” he says. “I am intrigued by DC’s history and also how it continues to change and grow. It has been exhilarating to visit and explore and even rediscover parts of the city that I’ve taken for granted all my life.”
“Each neighborhood definitely has its own thing going on, and it’s cool to be able to highlight that while touring some truly amazing properties,” Osborn says.
“Be sure not to miss the interviews at the very end of the show with all the folks on the street,” Evans says.
The first six episodes of Season 4 of If You Lived Here will air at 9 p.m. on Mondays on WETA PBS and at 8 p.m. on WETA Metro. It will run from October 28 through December 9, with no shows on November 18.
Six more episodes will premiere in early 2025.
