The Raising Cane’s franchise is growing in Northern Virginia. Almost one year after the first NoVA location opened in Sterling, the chicken finger–restaurant has announced a new location is set to open in Fredericksburg on Tuesday, October 31.
Located on Route 3 — across from Spotsylvania Towne Centre — the new restaurant will feature a double drive-thru, large indoor dining area, and covered patio. The opening day celebrations will start with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m. with Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce representatives.
“We’re excited to bring the first taste of ONE LOVE to the Fredericksburg area,” said Will Scholzen, area leader of restaurants, in a recent press release. “We’ve hired nearly 100 new crewmembers and our team can’t wait to start serving this vibrant community. Customers will see our love for Fredericksburg in the restaurant’s interior design and artwork — which highlight the area’s heritage and sports teams.”
Caniacs will want to get there early. From 7 to 8 a.m., the restaurant will take entries for its “Lucky 20” drawing. Twenty winners will receive free Raising Cane’s for a year. All participants must be 13 and older and be present to win. The first 100 dine-in customers who purchase a combo will also receive a commemorative T-shirt with their order.
The Fredericksburg location will be open from 9 a.m. to midnight Sunday to Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. 3071 Plank Rd., Fredericksburg
