The divine dining of the holiday season is over, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have anything to look forward to in 2020.
For two weekends and 10 days in Alexandria, local residents, visitors and foodies alike can enjoy Alexandria Restaurant Week from Friday, Jan. 17 to Sunday, Jan. 26, featuring 70 participating restaurants.
Diners will have the option of a three-course, $35 dinner for one, or a $35 one-course dinner for two. In addition to dinner specials and exclusive three-course menus, 35 locations will also offer lunch specials of $15 to $22 per person, and another dozen or so restaurants will offer brunch specials for $15 to $22 per person.
Participating restaurants are located in neighborhoods throughout Old Town, Del Ray, Carlyle and Eisenhower and the West End, and include Augie’s Mussel House & Beer Garden, The Study at Morrison House, Rus Uz-Alexandria and Mai Tai.
Sip drinks and chow down at 219 Restaurant, Brabo Brasserie or Magnolia’s on King. Lunch offerings will be found at Bastille Brasserie and Bar, Hummingbird, Mason Social and newcomer Yunnan by Potomac Noodle House. Brunch will be offered at Cafe 44, Clyde’s Restaurant, Sonoma Cellar and Vaso’s Mediterranenan Bistro.
Don’t miss your chance to try some of the city’s best restaurants, especially since this event won’t be back again until the dog days of summer return.
