When a restaurant publicist marries a chef, they’re bound to open their own place.
The Purcellville-based family, Dusty Lockhart, Stefano Frigerio and their four children, started a crowdfunding campaign to create Petit Loulou, a planned French creperie, bakery and cafe.
“The goal,” writes Lockhart, “is to bring a piece of Paris to Purcellville with transportive decor, an all-day menu of croissants baked on the hour, French pastries, baguette sandwiches, cheese and charcuterie and the largest crepe menu east of Paris.” Funding perks include naming rights for a crepe.
