Bar Louie
This location abruptly closed its doors this month following a shooting incident inside the restaurant, according to Prince William Times. 14081 Promenade Commons St., Gainesville
BlackNerd Coffee
September 30 is the last day to visit this Vienna storefront. It was known for making coffee that tasted great without any added cream or sugar. Customers can shop online to get 20 percent of merchandise. 344 Maple Ave. W., Ste. 304, Vienna

Dynasty Brewing Co.
Regulars at Dynasty Brewing’s Ashburn location will be able to enjoy the brewery’s cold beer for a little longer. After announcing it was closing at the end of August, Dynasty will now remain open through the end of November. Greenheart Juice Shop
All four locations in Northern Virginia — Aldie, Arlington, Leesburg, and Vienna — and one store in DC have closed. A new brand is set to take over all of the Greenheart locations, according to The Burn. Multiple locations
Guava Artisanal Latin Bakery
The authentic Latin bakery served its last customer on July 31. In its closing note to customers, the staff mentioned rising costs and low sales as reasons for closing. 3230 Old Pickett Rd., Fairfax
Istanbul Blue
Another Vienna staple is no longer in service. Known for its authentic Turkish cuisine, Istanbul Blue recently closed just months after the building had sold, according to members of the Vienna Foodies Facebook group. 523 Maple Ave. W., Vienna
Maggiano’s Little Italy
This Italian restaurant has been a staple at Tyson Galleria for nearly 30 years. Unfortunately, this location’s final day of service will be September 23. But don’t fret – Maggiano’s will be back when it reopens at Tysons Corner Center in 2026. 2001 International Dr., McLean

Nicecream
This summer ended up being the last year for Nicecream treats. After 11 years in service, the ice cream shop decided to call it quits due to rent hikes, according to ARLnow. A Van Leeuwen storefront is set to take over the location. 2831 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington

The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm
After nearly 30 years in business, The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm officially closed at the end of August. Ranked the No. 1 restaurant in 2024 by Northern Virginia Magazine, the owner posted that she decided to close to start a next chapter of her life. 42461 Lovettsville Rd., Lovettsville
Pho Dulles 75
A community favorite closed its doors with little notice. According to a post on Reddit, the lease on the restaurant was up and the owners decided not to renew. 1058 Elden St., Herndon
QWENCH juice bar and DRNK coffee + tea
The combo shop is no longer serving in Cascades Overlook Town Center. The storefront put up a sign that it was temporarily closed back in June, but officially closed in August. 21385 Epicerie Plz., Ste. 150, Sterling
Sora Ethiopian
Ethiopian food lovers will need to find a new go-to restaurant. Sora Ethiopian closed over the last weekend in August. According to ALXnow, the building was sold back on July 1. 5145 Duke St., Alexandria
Sushi King
Just a little over a year after opening, Sushi King in Dulles Town Center has closed, according to The Burn. 21100 Dulles Town Cir., Ste. B144, Sterling
