Get Free Cookies from the King Arthur Bake Truck

Sweet treats for all! Here’s how to snag your complimentary snack.

By Maggie Roth October 31, 2024 at 3:09 pm

What’s better than an ice cream truck in the summer? A chocolate chip cookie truck in the fall — especially when the treats are free.

The King Arthur Bake Truck, hosted by King Arthur Baking Company, will be in Fairfax on Saturday, November 9, distributing free chocolate chip cookies while supplies last. The cookies are triple chocolate chip, from Fairfax-based bakery Liberty Baking Co.

The truck will be at the Fairfax Corner Plaza at 11901 Grand Commons Ave, starting at 11 a.m. and running until supplies run out. There is a limit of one cookie per person present.

Once you’ve received your free treat, head to the King Arthur Baking Company pop-up shop, located at 11948 Grand Commons Ave. The temporary retail location sells baking essentials such as ingredients, baking mixes, tools and appliances, and more.

Plus, the brand’s Bake for Good program plans to visit fourth through seventh grade classrooms around Northern Virginia to teach students to bake.

The pop-up shop will be in Fairfax until July 2025.
