A day to celebrate pies and math? We’re in! Pi Day was founded in 1988 by physicist Larry Shaw, a native Washingtonian. Given pi begins with the numbers 3.14, it is celebrated every year on March 14. Grab a pie for all palates at this longtime family-owned pie shop. You need to order for Pi Day three days ahead of your pickup date. You’ll find an assortment of fruit, nut, chess, and custard and cream pies. Multiple locations
