6 Delicious Peach Treats to Try at NoVA Restaurants

We’ve rounded up a selection of yummy desserts and cocktails.

Peach season is upon us. And with it comes a series of fun seasonally flavored sweets from local restaurants. If you’re in the mood for a special peachy treat, we’ve rounded up some delicious options.

2941 Restaurant

The Dessert: Peach Crumble

In this dish, peaches are cooked with sugar and then topped with a crunchy oat topping and baked until warm and bubbly. Served with vanilla ice cream for a cool contrast, it is a truly dreamy summer dessert. 2941 Fairview Park Dr., Falls Church

The Black Sheep

The Drink: Ginger Peach Martini

Made with Hendrick’s gin, Domaine de Canton, which is a ginger liquor, peach schnapps, and lemon, this is truly a lovely libation. A little spicy, a little sweet, and a little tart, this a great seasonal twist on a classic martini.

Duck Donuts

The Dessert: Peaches & Cream Donut

Featuring a cinnamon sugar donut that is topped with a juicy peach topping and decorated with a drizzle of vanilla icing, you won’t be able to get enough of this donut this summer. Pair it with a cold coffee for a great sweet-bitter pairing.

Foode

The Drink: A New Lychee on Life

For a drink that screams summer in a glass, order A New Lychee on Life. Made with peach schnapps and fresh lychee, the beverage highlights the best of summer and combines it with champagne and soda for effervesce. A hint of lemon and lime add brightness and acidity, rounding out the drink perfectly. 900 Princess Anne St., Fredericksburg

Harvey’s

The Dessert: Peach Bread Pudding

Chef Emily Watt uses fresh peaches that she roasts lightly and seasons for her bread budding. The peaches are then mixed with torn hunks of brioche and croissants, doused in an egg and cream mix, and baked. A heady, sweet bourbon and a streusel topping is added halfway through the baking process. 513 W. Broad St., Ste. 130, Falls Church

Milk and Honey

The Dessert: Peach Cobbler Hand Pie

This sweet treat is as good as it sounds. A half-moon shaped pastry is served oozing with a gooey peach-pie filling. The dessert is sprinkled with sugar and served with dollops of whipped cream, adding the creamy note. The pastry shell is crunchy and buttery, the quintessential contrast to the soft filling. Multiple locations.
