New Restaurant, Distillery Opening at NOVA Live in Manassas

Proof Kitchen + Bar and MurLarkey Distilled Spirits join 2 Silos Brewing, Black Sheep Restaurant, and music venue The Yard.

A new restaurant/distillery partnership is poised to open its doors in Manassas. Proof Kitchen + Bar will officially welcome diners on Monday, May 5. The restaurant partners with MurLarkey Distilled Spirits to offer food and drink pairings and specialty whiskey cocktails.

Proof and MurLarkey join the expanding NOVA LIVE campus (formerly Farm Brew LIVE) on Discovery Drive in Manassas, which operates under the Villagio Hospitality Group. The property also includes 2 Silos Brewing Co., The Black Sheep Restaurant, and the live music venue The Yard.

Proof offers lunch, dinner, and brunch menus. Diners can choose from a variety of chicken, beef, and seafood dishes, including burgers, crabcakes, and flatbreads. Dishes that highlight the MurLarkey collaboration include a Bourbon Glazed Pork Belly Lollipop appetizer, Whiskey-Brined Pork Chop entrée, and The Proper Proof Burger, which features whiskey-marinated pickles and sauce.

MurLarkey has relocated its Bristow operation to the new 25,000-square-foot distillery and tasting room next to Proof. The distillery is run by second generation Irish-American cousins Tom Murray and Mike and Jim Larkin, along with a small team of friends and family. The brand produces special release, traditional, and flavored whiskeys, plus gin and vodka.
