7 Northern Virginia and DC Restaurants Offering Passover Specials

Fill your table with brisket, matzo, latkes, and other traditional and modern dishes for Passover.

On April 1, Jewish families across Northern Virginia begin their Passover celebrations. If you plan to host a special dinner for your friends and family, here are places where you can find Passover dishes in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC.

Balducci’s

Customize your dinner for six with the tasty offerings from Balducci’s. Your dinner guests will love filling up on roasted lamb, potato latkes, Parmesan artichokes, bon bons, and much more. Individual entrées, sides, and desserts can be purchased. Order pickup and delivery is available through April 9. 600 Franklin St., Alexandria; 6655 Old Dominion Dr., McLean

Call Your Mother

If you’re just looking for a sweet treat to end your meal, Call Your Mother is offering special sweets for Passover. There are piña colada macaroons, peanut butter–chocolate macaroons, and toffee matzo brittle with pecans. They’re available from April 1 to 9. Multiple area locations

Celebrity Delly

For nearly 50 years, this Falls Church deli has been serving up favorites for your holiday feasts. This year, Celebrity is offering Passover meals and an à la carte menu. Meals serve at least five people, with entrée options for brisket, baked chicken, and salmon, along with an appetizer, vegetables or potatoes, soup, and dessert. The order cutoff to guarantee your meal is March 27. 7263 Arlington Blvd., Ste. A, Falls Church

Chutzpah Deli

No matter if you need a full meal or a few sides to accompany your home cooking, you can grab it at this Fairfax favorite. Fill your table with apricot-glazed chicken, stuffed cabbage, chopped liver, apple sauce, and desserts. Orders must be placed by 3 p.m. March 25. 12214 Fairfax Town Ctr., Fairfax

Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab 

In Washington, DC, Joe’s is offering Passover meals both in-house and for takeout. Make a reservation for April 1 or 2 to enjoy dishes like herb-roasted chicken and wild Alaskan halibut for $80 per adult. The same dishes are available for takeout on an a la carte basis. 750 15th St. NW, Washington, DC 

Sababa

Make a trip to DC for an unforgettable Passover meal. Executive Chef Ryan Moore will prepare an à la carte menu with braised beef brisket, braised salmon, and charoset. The holiday menu is available for in-house dining from April 1 to 9, both in-house and for pre-order and catering. 3311 Connecticut Ave. NW, Washington, DC

Wagshal’s 

This deli has been in operation for more than 100 years and today has six locations in DC and Maryland. Head here to pick up Passover meals, including Seder plates, entrees like brisket with gravy or an herb-crusted saddle of lamb, or kosher sweets like almond macaroons and cheesecake. Multiple area locations
