7 Northern Virginia Restaurants to Try During Metro Washington’s Winter Restaurant Week

Get ready for Winter Restaurant Week with these specials at must-try NoVA eateries.

Winter Restaurant Week is upon us. Every year, the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington hosts the region-wide culinary event, where diners can visit some of the area’s top restaurants for discounted prix fixe rates.

This winter, restaurant week will run from January 27 to February 2. Eateries will offer brunch or lunch menus for $25 or $35 per person and dinners for $40, $55, or $65 per person.

And the deals aren’t limited just to the district. There are 75 participating Virginia restaurants listed on the RAMW website. Here are some of the highlights.

2941: Our No. 2 Best Restaurant of 2024 will offer a three-course dinner special for $65 with a wine or cocktail pairing. Choose from grilled rib-eye, a Berkshire pork duo, grouper bouillabaisse, or butternut squash raviolini as the main dish. There is also a selection of appetizers, such as crab salad and crispy calamari, plus desserts like a Thai tea pavlova.

Agora: The Tysons restaurant will have a choice of a $65 five-course lunch menu with dishes like grilled octopus, branzino, and a sampling of spreads; or a $35 four-course dinner special, with dishes like dolmades, falafel, and kofte. Each can be paired with wine for an additional fee.

Immigrant Food: This casual spot opened in Arlington last year, and now is the perfect time to try some of its signature dishes. The $40 dinner includes bao buns, carrots, or dumplings for an appetizer, a choice of four entrées, including the Immigrant Burger and roasted branzino, and alfajores or flan for dessert. There’s also a $25 three-course lunch menu that comes with a seasonal beverage.

Ingle Korean Steakhouse: At this Korean steakhouse, try a meal such as jjamppong (a spicy noodle soup), kkotge-tang (a crab stew), or mak-guksu (chilled buckwheat noodles) as your entrée. The $65 meal also comes with a starter dish, a side, an appetizer, and a dessert. Minimum of two people per table.

Kirby Club: At this Mediterranean spot in Fairfax, choose from spreads like havuc, hummus, or labneh to pair with a salad or fries to start your $40 dinner. The main event is the Gold Plate, a combination of shish taouk and kofta with rice or couscous. For dessert, choose from apricot cake or date soft serve.

Ometeo: This Tysons Tex-Mex spot will have a dinner special for $40 or $55, depending on your entrée. Pick from choices like chile relleno, beef cheek barbacoa, or a steak and seafood fajita that serves two. There’s also a selection of appetizers and desserts; drinks are available for a discounted rate with the purchase of a restaurant week meal.

Osteria Marzano: Go for a romantic Italian dinner for $55 here, where appetizers include mussels, meatballs, and more. Entrées include a selection of pastas — including bolognese, spinach agnolotti, and seafood linguine — or dishes like eggplant parmigiana or mahi mahi. Tiramisu, cannoli, or Nutella gelato finish the meal on a sweet note.

See the Winter Restaurant Week website for the full list of participating restaurants. Note that many restaurants prohibit sharing dishes and require that all guests at a table participate in the deal.
