Upcoming Senior Trips
On May 16, Fairfax County will send area seniors off to St. Michael’s, Maryland, where they will be able to see what the Eastern Shore town’s shops and restaurants have to offer. Then on May 23, seniors will be able to visit another Maryland destination, this one Sotterley Plantation—which is older than Monticello and Mount Vernon—in Hollywood.
As for the Arlington County senior trips that are still up for grabs this month, find one to a Nationals vs. Yankees game on May 16, another to Solomon’s Island, Maryland, on May 18 and one to the National Chamber Ensemble on May 19. Seniors can try their luck at the Dover Downs Casino on May 23, tour Pierce Mill and eat lunch at Bethesda Row on May 26, listen to the U.S. Marine Band at Wolf Trap on May 27, explore the National Building Museum on May 28, visit Rehobeth Beach, Delaware, on May 29 or check out National Geographic Museum’s Tomb of Christ exhibit on May 31.
