Filling down time with children and sludging through all the options that are out there can be a daunting task. Not only are you trying to discover the best options, you’re also figuring out what works best for your budget.

Enter KidPass, a mobile app that launched in New York and is now in the Metro-D.C. area, through which parents can sort through a plethora of child activities, see the pricing and reviews and book immediately through the app. “We started KidPass to solve a need that we had as new parents ourselves, and it’s been incredible to see the KidPass community grow to thousands of parents in New York City alone,” says Solomon Liou, co-founder and CEO of KidPass.

Liou, in partnership with Aaron Kaufman, first launched the app in 2016 and has grown the business to include more than 150,000 activities. In the Metro-D.C. area, where the app launched in January, there are over 1,000 options to choose from, including partnerships with the Newseum, Tiny Dancers, Pinstripes, My Gym, Gymboree, Jei Learning Center, Yoga Heights, The British Swim School and more.

The process is simple: For a monthly fee parents can search area activities by age, category and location, then schedule and book a class or play time that works for them. There are three plans to choose from: $49 a month offers access for up to two children and visits to any partner three times a month; $99 a month gets you access for up to five children along with visits to any partner three times a month; and $189 a month allows for an unlimited amount of children to visit partners three times a month plus a premium concierge service consisting of early access to new partners, waitlist priority and personal recommendations. All plans offer a credit component to get you additional benefits.

Aaron Kaufman has left the business since this article was written. Chhay Chhun is now with the company.
