On Nov. 14, Launch Trampoline Park, a national franchise, opened in Herndon with the hope that it will be able to provide families with an experience that goes beyond just bouncing.
At Launch, kids can literally jump for joy on a massive 16,000-square-foot stretch of connected trampolines. The venue also features a cutting-edge Ninja Course, multiple trampoline basketball courts, a jousting area, foam pit and an arcade. Special events such as teen nights, fitness classes, fundraisers, special needs days and homeschool hours are in the works.
Launch also offers multiple birthday party packages and free Wi-Fi for parents needing to take a break.
An added bonus: the 25,000-square-foot sports and entertainment center is located right off Fairfax County Parkway and is close to major roadways such as Route 28, I-66 and the Dulles Toll Road, making it a convenient place for many Northern Virginia families to venture to.
“The excitement expressed and the overwhelming enthusiasm from the Herndon community has fueled us from day one,” Michael Heath, general manager of the Herndon location, said. “When you put a great facility in a great community, it’s a win-win situation and it even shows in the terrific employees we’ve hired.”
Unlike most other trampoline parks, there are no age or height restrictions to participate. However, there is a designated Kid’s Court limited to children 42” and under, plus bi-weekly Toddler Time. During Toddler Time, little ones have free range of the entire facility and parents or caregivers jump for free.
When hunger pains surge, Launch Trampoline Park offers a full menu at its on-site café. Additional dining options, such as Starbucks, Zoë’s Kitchen, and Bonchon are available in the adjacent Franklin Farm Village Shopping Center.
Although walk-ins are welcome, jump times can easily be reserved online for no additional fee. Gift cards and discount frequent passes are also available for purchase both online and at the facility.
“We look forward to being the premiere entertainment place for Herndon and the surrounding areas and cannot thank our growing group of loyal patrons enough,” Heath added. “We’re already seeing ‘regulars’ and can’t wait to meet those yet to come.”
