Taking a cue from the West Side Story or Romeo and Juliet stories of young lovers on opposite sides, this young adult novel sets the scene during a Wiccan war taking place in Northern Virginia. Dagny and Marc try to make a life together while keeping their love a secret from their families. They battle witches and spirits who threaten their families and friends and have the two questioning their beliefs and customs as they try to find a way to be together. (June 2016)
