“May God be with you. Whatever it takes, bring Joey back,” Rachel Jacobson told her husband, Joseph, after a horrific ATV accident at their summer house in Luray. Over a year later the Jacobsons met with a Czech man promising he could do just that—at a cost. Eight years after the birth of the first Joey, the Jacobsons had their second Joey, through cloning. Later in life, Joey faces collaboration with the CIA and the secrets of his existence. (August 2016)
