Northern Virginia Magazine’s Teacher of the Year Survey

One of our fall 2023 issues will feature our second annual Northern Virginia Magazine Teacher of the Year award. Northern Virginia magazine established this award to recognize the very best educators in our region, and we need your help finding who those top teachers are. The teacher selected as Teacher of the Year will be awarded with a $10,000 prize.

Anyone may submit a nomination for a great teacher — principals, assistant principals, other administrators, fellow teachers, school employees, parents, students, former students, or the general public. Nominees must have at least three years of experience and be full-time teachers in grades K through 12 during the 2022-2023 school year. Teachers must be employed at an accredited private or public school in a Northern Virginia county (Arlington, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William, Stafford) or city (Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas, Manassas Park). Teachers may not nominate themselves.
