Visit the Around the World Cultural Food Festival in Alexandria This Weekend

The event features more than 30 food vendors plus live performances.

By Jamie Gholson August 18, 2025 at 9:48 am

Explore a plethora of cultural cuisines at the Around the World Cultural Food Festival on August 23. Hosted in Oronoco Bay Park in Alexandria, this festival will host 32 food vendors (each representing a different country) and 96 artisan vendors.

This global culinary experience allows you to taste your way around the world with authentic dishes from every corner of the globe. From spicy dishes to sweet desserts, every food stand is an opportunity to discover something new.

In addition to the food and vendors, there will be a full lineup of live performances. This will include singing and instrumental music, dance, and theatrical plays. Eight performers will represent various countries around the world, including Argentina, Turkey, Japan, Indonesia, Brazil, and Poland.

The Around the World Cultural Food Festival will also include handmade arts and crafts where artisans can showcase things like home décor and jewelry. This family-friendly event is enjoyable for all ages with moon bounces for the kids and beer gardens for the adults.

With over 20,000 people attending each year and waterfront views from a 4.5-acre park, this is the perfect way to finish off the summer season.
