Goodstone Inn Offers Day Passes to Its Pool

Looking for an adult-only day away? The luxury resort’s pool might be a great day trip.

By Colleen Kelleher August 1, 2024 at 11:08 am

With sweltering hot weather still expected this summer, you may want to cool off at a pool without the kids. Perhaps it’s time for a day trip with your bestie. The Goodstone Inn & Restaurant in Middleburg now offers day-pass access to its pool to adults who are not staying there.

Through ResortPass, you can spend a day at the luxury resort’s pool for $35 on weekdays and $55 on weekends. From noon to 7 p.m., you get access to the heated outdoor saltwater pool, outdoor hot tub, and lounge chairs. You also get towels, complimentary Wi-Fi, and access to changing rooms with showers.

You can sit poolside and order a meal and a cocktail. Maybe shrimp sliders and an elderflower gin spritz? Or order a Goodstone salad and a seasonal cocktail, like the new Summer Glow, a vodka drink with strawberry-rhubarb syrup, topped with sparkling wine, soda water, and a rhubarb garnish.

The veggies, fruits, and herbs on Goodstone’s cocktail and food menus are sourced from its own farm.

“The local communities in Middleburg and the greater DC area have always been supportive and welcoming of Goodstone and its guests, so we are thrilled that our community can now enjoy a day of relaxation and fun at our pool as well,” said Raeshawna Scott, general manager of Goodstone.

While a limited number of passes are available, if you look a couple of weeks out (say when the kids are back in school), you’ll have luck.
