Paige Lobuts says she always knew that one day she wanted to open her own business, but it had to be something that she was passionate about. So naturally, she turned to fashion.
“Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved dressing up and playing with clothes,” Lobuts explains. “As I got older, fashion continued to be a part of my everyday life, whether it be putting outfits together for work or styling my friends.”
Lobuts is a one-woman show who built her brand, Sienna Sky Boutique, from the ground up, starting out with a successful online launch before opening her brick-and-mortar location in Leesburg’s Village Market this past March. She says she chose the name Sienna Sky Boutique as it sort of plays upon the color and vibe that she feels best represents her brand.
“I’ve always loved burnt orange and how it is just soft, natural, and warm,” she explains. “What I thought about when I saw this color was a sunset in summer. It just really tied into what I wanted the store to be.”
The name rings true. The atmosphere when you walk into Sienna Sky is bright and welcoming. “I just wanted it to be a feminine little boutique where women can come together to shop, talk, and just hang out,” says Lobuts.
With a background in user experience, Lobuts did a lot of color psychology while in the planning stages of launching her boutique. The store is organized for shoppers by color so that if they’re drawn to or searching for a specific shade, it’s easy to find. Lobuts says she tries to create a personalized shopping experience for each customer.
“I ask them what they’re shopping for, help pull items for them, and even help style them if they’re interested,” Lobuts says.
Sienna Sky Boutique’s target customer base is the “millennial woman.”
“The style is classic and feminine but modern,” explains Lobuts. “It’s something you can wear to work but also out for happy hour afterward.”
The quality and integrity of the clothing is very important to Lobuts when choosing items for the shop. And she places a strong emphasis on affordability as well.
“I really pride myself on keeping affordable pricing across my inventory, but also having that quality aspect,” says Lobuts, who adds that nothing in the store is over $80.
The boutique has a variety of tops, dresses, and rompers, as well as hats, hair accessories, candles, and items for your home.
Customers can find pieces ranging in price from around $10 for a claw-clip hair accessory to between $20 and $40 for various clothing and jewelry pieces. Lobuts says she tries to find transitional pieces that can be used for multiple seasons as well.
“Every single piece I choose for the store is something they can add to their closet,” she explains. “Whether they’re a stay-at-home-mom or a working woman going into the office every day, I strive for having really good, quality clothing for all.” 1607 Village Market Blvd., Ste. 118, Leesburg
