Baron Cameron Dog Park
Meet your dog friends at this Reston park. The off-leash park has been around for 20 years, offering dogs of all sizes endless hours of fun. Plus, there is a separate section for smaller dogs under 25 pounds to frolic and have fun. 11330 Baron Cameron Ave., Reston
Ben Brenman Park
Get your furry friend some extra exercise at this fenced park. Open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., the dog area features lights to best fit your schedule and to help your pooch burn off some extra energy right before bedtime. 4800 Brenman Park Dr., Alexandria
Simpson Stadium Park
Located on the other side of Alexandria is Simpson Stadium Park. The lit, fenced-in park includes a doggy water fountain and plenty of crushed stone and grass to run and play with the local pups. 426 E. Monroe Ave., Alexandria
Fredericksburg Dog Park
If your puppy is four months or older, schedule your next play date down in Fredericksburg. Once you and your furry friend are secured in the park, unhook the leash and let your dog run wild. A water station is also provided for pets. 1448 Kenmore Ave., Fredericksburg
Glencarlyn Dog Park
Those trained to be off-leash will love running around the trails of Glencarlyn. Before the weather gets too cold, let your doggo splash around in the water and explore the designated dog areas. 301 S. Harrison St., Arlington
James Hunter Dog Park
If your dogs are looking for a place to cool off, this is the place to be. The huge rock waterfall feature includes a small wading area for the local dogs to play in. Plus, the park features plenty of seating options for dog parents. 1230 N. Hartford St., Arlington
K9 Gunner Memorial Dog Park
The beloved Woodbridge dog park has been welcoming four-legged friends since 2013. Named after former police dog K9 Gunner, this park is maintained solely on donations from park goers. With recent Eagle Scout projects completed this summer, the park now features a water station and different agility equipment to add to the fun. 13000 Minnieville Rd., Woodbridge
Mason District Dog Park
The shaded park will provide some comfort throughout all of NoVA’s seasons. With plenty of space to romp around, make sure you bring your dog’s favorite toy to share with new friends. After some play time, enjoy a leisurely walk along the endless trails of Mason District Park. Pinecrest Pkwy., Annandale
Shirlington Dog Park
Built over 30 years ago, the Shirlington Dog Park was one of the first off-leash dog exercise areas in the region. The 2-acre park includes an urban stream, accessible trail, and plenty of dog water fountains located throughout the park. Pet lovers are asked to limit their stay to 30 minutes to ensure everyone can enjoy the park. 2710 S. Oakland St., Arlington
Vienna Dog Park
The fenced park provides dogs four months and older a safe place to play and meet friends. With a huge shaded area and fun agility equipment, your pup can choose between relaxing and playing and your next trip to the park. 700 Courthouse Rd. SW, Vienna
Vint Hill Dog Park
The 1.25 acre park is the perfect spot for some much-needed playtime this fall. The Warrenton spot provides dog waste bags, a water station, and activity equipment for all visitors. 4263 Aiken Dr., Warrenton
