7 fitness classes to join this weekend

Break a sweat this weekend with boot camp, yoga or hiking sessions.

Continue your workout grind with a special fitness class. Whether you want to get in a quick workout during your lunch break or take in the full moon on a hike through the woods, these seven fitness classes and events will get your heart pumping this weekend.

Sentara Go Red Virtual Workout Luncheon with FIT4MOM

Thursday, noon-12:45 p.m.
Enjoy a lunch break workout session with Sentara and FIT4MOM. The total body workout will feature intervals of cardio, strength and core workouts, then end with a stretch and meditation session. For every Prince William County resident in attendance, Sentara will make a $10 donation to the American Heart Association. // free

Full Moon Hike

Friday, 5:30-7 p.m.
Once the work day ends, take to nature for a lovely hike. Trek the Rappahannock Heritage Trail as the sun starts to set and the full moon begins to shine. The hike will be 3.3 miles.  // Virginia Outdoor Center: 3219 Fall Hill Ave., Fredericksburg; free

POUND & Pour

Friday, 6-7 p.m.
Bring out your inner drummer at POUND & Pour. This 45-minute workout gets your blood pumping as you follow the beat with weighted drumsticks to tone and tighten your muscles. 6-Week Beginner Flow Series – LiveStream

Saturday, 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Work out your flexibility with this six-week series from Radiance Yoga. Participants will learn all of the techniques of flow yoga, including proper breathing techniques, fundamental yoga poses and methods for relaxation. Students will also have access to unlimited LiveStream and outdoor yoga classes during the series. // $99

Lucky Dogs & Cats Charity Yoga Event

Saturday, 4-5 p.m.
Support the local shelter animals at Lucky Dog Animal Rescue with a yoga class. Participants of all levels are welcome to join for this special socially distanced class. All donations will go to the shelter. // My Bodyoga: 2570 Dynasty Loop, Woodbridge; donations welcome

Breakout Boot Camp Class

Saturday, 6-7 p.m.
Burn some calories and build muscle at the breakout Boot Camp Class. The hour-long session will feature interval training for all fitness levels and new workouts each week. // 3317 Bourbon St., Fredericksburg; free

Yoga and a beer

Sunday, noon-1:15 p.m.
Fill your Sunday with yoga and drinks. Get in an hour of vinyasa flow then enjoy a complimentary beer or lemonade seltzer. Participants are asked to bring their own mat and blocks. // Dynasty Brewing Co.: 21140 Ashburn Crossing Drive, Suite 130-135, Ashburn; $20
