Both the DC and Clarendon locations are offering a generous New Year’s Eve family-style grab-and-go menu. The first choice is a seven-course Balkan feast priced at $79. It includes a choice of main dish, spread, salad, two vegetables, a potato dish, dessert, one bottle of pre-selected sparkling wine and a choice of a second bottle of wine (red, white, or sparkling) or one bottled cocktail (serves two) to feed three or four people. The second option is priced at $150 and includes a choice of two main dishes, two spreads, two salads, four vegetables, two potato dishes, two desserts, one bottle of sparkling wine and a choice of two bottled cocktails (serves four) or two additional bottles of pre-selected wine (red, white or sparkling) to feed six to eight people. The Vienna wine bar and restaurant will be offering an a la carte Spanish menu to go ($120/two people). Highlights include albondigas (Spanish meatballs), paella de mariscos, Basque cheesecake and a bottle of Cava to toast. Ring in the New Year with the restaurant and cheese shop’s multi-course meal for two ($69.99), complete with party gear. Each meal includes a three-cheese board with accoutrements; mixed green salad with apricots, almonds, fried Brie and Champagne vinaigrette; choice of either beef Bourguignon with goat-cheese-swirled mashed potatoes and roasted rainbow carrots or jumbo shells stuffed with spinach, feta and sheep’s milk ricotta with a rustic tomato sauce and roasted rainbow carrots; and chocolate mousse with chocolate-covered strawberries. Neighborhood Provisions
Among the many options available for pickup or delivery through NRG for New Year’s Eve is a Good Riddance 2020 Feast for One ($27) with smoked pork shoulder, corn bread, pimento cheese, braised collard greens and black-eyed peas; caviar service at home ($90) and three-course dinner ($60/person). The latter includes a choice of lobster bisque, poached pears or crab cake to start; short ribs, salmon or mushroom risotto for an entree; and flourless chocolate cake or lemon meringue pie for dessert. You can schedule a pickup at Bluejacket, Rustico Alexandria, Rustico Arlington, Red Apron Mosaic or Owen’s Ordinary. The restaurant requests a $35 minimum order. Depending on your location, you can also schedule delivery for a minimum $35 purchase plus a $7 fee. Order deadline is Dec. 30 for pickup or delivery on Dec. 31.
North Italia
Go on DoorDash or Olo to order this upscale Italian chain’s New Year’s Eve prix-fixe. For $60, guests get three courses. Festive selections include starters like blue crab risotto with truffle creme fraiche, melted leek and English peas. Trummer’s Restaurant
In addition to the five-course Viennese Ball-inspired dinner they are serving at the restaurant, the Clifton concept is offering a selection of artisanal snacks for at-home celebrations, available for purchase ahead of the holiday. Options include cheese and charcuterie plates, shrimp cocktail, house-made Old Bay chips with chive creme fraiche and California sturgeon caviar served with housemade blinis and accoutrements. The Mexican restaurant offers two large, value-driven family-style Fiesta for Two menus. They are fully-customizable and derived from their dining without limits concept. Priced at $65/couple, the first meal includes a pound of protein from the pre-selected list followed by three 8-ounce sides, one to-go cocktail, a bottle of sparkling wine and dessert. The second menu is priced at $120 for a family of four, featuring two pounds of protein, six 8-ounce side, two desserts and a choice of two to-go cocktails or two bottles of sparkling wine. Feast’s New Year’s Eve box for two ($175) includes everything you need to kick off 2021, including a bottle of sparkling wine to toast the night. The three locations of the Korean eatery have added two takeaway feasts for carryout and delivery for New Year’s Eve. Priced at $25 per couple or $40 for a family of four, the feast allows diners to choose their base of sushi-grade white rice or purple rice before selecting a protein, four vegetables and toppings. Mains include bulgogi, soy-garlic-ginger ginger, spicy pork in a sweet-spicy-chili marinade and tofu in a soy-garlic-ginger marinade.
