Sierra Trading Post’s first location in Virginia lands in Sterling

Construction is almost complete at Potomac Run Plaza ahead of the brand’s arrival.

By Holly Gambrell March 1, 2019 at 8:03 am

Sierra Trading Post knows the joy of the great outdoors. The fresh air. The thrill of a hike. The challenges of camping.

It’s why the brand has become a go-to shop for outdoorsy types. And with the amount of running and hiking trails, national parks and nature surrounding the Northern Virginia region, locals will be excited to know that the first Sierra Trading Post location in the DC region—and the state of Virginia—opens its doors in Sterling on March 16.

The brand offers gear for both outdoor adventures and fitness, including apparel, footwear and home décor. The store will use the same bargain model as other TJX brands, like TJ Maxx.

Categories of products include yoga, running, snow gear, swimwear, hiking, camping and even pet gear.

The Sterling location will be in the same shopping plaza as two other TJX brands: HomeGoods and Homesense, which both opened in late 2018. For more information on Sierra Trading Post, visit sierra.com. // Sierra Trading Post: 46301 Potomac Run Plaza, Sterling
