There has been a recent outbreak of home burglaries across Fairfax County, with 13 reported so far. Police are currently investigating, but no arrests have been made.

Public Safety Cadets, a national program run by law enforcement officers and designed for people ages 14-21, launched earlier this month. The goal of the group is to give teens who are interested in a career in law enforcement experience and education with law enforcement practices, as well as help them develop leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
