Lorton teen who killed Reston girlfriend’s parents unable to stand trial; Loudoun County voices opposition to West Virginia factory

Wednesday, a Fairfax County judged ruled that the Lorton teenager charged with killing his Reston girlfriend’s parents, Buckley Kuhn-Fricker and Scott Fricker, is too incompetent to stand trial, psychologists saying that the brain damage sustained from when the teen then shot himself prevents him from working with attorneys.

Ranson, West Virginia residents have expressed their concerns over the addition of a Rockwool insulation factory, which is only 12 miles from the Loudoun County line. As such, Loudoun Board of Supervisors Chair Phyllis Randall has voiced her opposition to the $150 million plant, which would be taking over an old apple orchard.
