Leesburg’s Ted Sjurseth is the founder of America’s 9/11 Foundation, which sponsors America’s 9/11 Ride, a motorcycle trip honoring first responders and providing scholarships to their children. Riders will start on Aug. 17 where United Flight 93 crashed in Somerset, Pennsylvania and head south, reaching Leesburg around 1:30 p.m. The next day, riders will rally at the Pentagon and then drive to the 9/11 memorial in New York City.
