Kettler Iceplex is now the MedStar Capitals Iceplex; On National Avocado Day, get free guacamole at Chipotle

Monday, Monumental Sports and Entertainment announced via a press release that the Capitals’ Kettler Iceplex will now be called the MedStar Capitals Iceplex.

Leesburg’s Ted Sjurseth is the founder of America’s 9/11 Foundation, which sponsors America’s 9/11 Ride, a motorcycle trip honoring first responders and providing scholarships to their children. Riders will start on Aug. 17 where United Flight 93 crashed in Somerset, Pennsylvania and head south, reaching Leesburg around 1:30 p.m. The next day, riders will rally at the Pentagon and then drive to the 9/11 memorial in New York City.
