Captials’ coach Barry Trotz resigns; To help pay for Silver Line, Dulles Toll Road rates may climb come January 2019

Monday, the Washington Capitals’ coach, Barry Trotz, announced his resignation. After the team won the Stanley Cup, Trotx reportedly asked for a five year extension (the win secured him two years) and a $5 million annual salary.

If approved, rates at the Dulles Toll Road’s mainline toll plazas will increase 75 cents and 50 cents at ramps. The extra money would be used to support the Silver Line.
