Daily 4-6:30 p.m.
This modern steakhouse is outfit with an industrial aesthetic and sunlight streaming in through the front wall of windows. The bar is the center of it all with TVs positioned for great viewing. Kybecca
Monday-Friday, 4-6 p.m.
Contemporary with a global twist is how Kybecca describes its offerings. Focusing on fresh, handmade dishes, everything is made in-house, everyday from locally sourced ingredients. The small bar in this modern American eatery is set off by itself at the front of the house and does not slack on its happy hour menu. Start off with $1 oysters, then delve into app options like frites, pimento fritters or Brussel sprouts and wash it down with a classic cocktail (Collins, gimlet, whiskey or gin sour) or a happy hour select wine or beer. Monday-Friday, 3-6:30 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
One of seven locations in the nation, Sedona Taphouse in Fredericksburg offers the downtown roughly 400 options of beers (bottles, can and on tap) ranging from light and crisp, sharp and hoppy to fruit and spiced. There are also cider and mead choices, wines and cocktails. Vivify Burger & Lounge
Tuesday-Friday, 4-7 p.m.
They may focus on burgers, but don’t discount this joint for a happy hour stop. First, it has a rooftop bar and deck. Second, the deals: four food options ranging from savory to sweet (cheese fries, sliders, bahn mi dogs and chocolate chip cookies). Then there are the drinks.
