Nothing says that warmer weather is around the corner like a good, old-fashioned carnival. Both admission and parking are free at this event, but ride tickets cost $1.50 each or can be purchased in packs of 20 for $25 or 50 for $50. // 2700 Potomac Mills Circle, Woodbridge

In the Midst of the Inferno: A Full Dome Projection by Jonathan Monaghan
Friday-Sunday, Times Vary
Jonathan Monaghan has crafted a full dome project that Washington City Paper has called “one of the best and most innovative projects in the region” with In the Midst of the Inferno. The immersive media experience is a critical reflection on power in the digital age. Multiple screenings will occur at various times throughout the weekend, with an Artist Talk with Monaghan on Friday, April 20, at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. // David M. PERFORMING ARTS
The Voice of Fauquier 2018! Singing Competition
Friday, 6 p.m.
Talented Fauquier high school students will compete in a singing competition to be crowned the voice of Fauquier 2018. The audience will vote and the top three contestants will win cash prizes. FITNESS
The LoCo Challenge: Loudoun Half & 8K
Saturday, 8 a.m.; Sunday, 7 a.m.
Registration closes on April 18 for this event, which encourages attendees to accomplish the LoCo Challenge by competing in both the Saturday 8K and Sunday half marathon. Model Classic 2018

HOLIDAY
15th Annual Earth Day Festival at Old Mill Park
Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
As parking is limited at this free event, attendees are encouraged to leave their car at home and walk to Old Mill Park using the Heritage Trail. Middleburg Spring Horse Race
Saturday, 11 am.-5 p.m.

FITNESS
Margarita Madness Race
Saturday, 3 p.m.
