Wednesday, Prince William County’s Board of Supervisors received a letter from 10 area lawmakers asking that they put an ordinance in place that would prevent people from driving with loaded firearms. Sen. Scott Surovell forwarded the issue to the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, whose chair said that it would be discussed.

Thursday, Jeff Davidson, a member of the Herndon Town Council, was seriously injured in a car accident. Davidson is being treated in a Baltimore shock trauma center and Mayor Lisa Merkel posted to social media Saturday calling on citizens to keep Davidson in their thoughts and prayers.
