A study published Wednesday by the traffic data firm Irnix named the southbound section of I-95 from the Fairfax County Parkway to Fredericksburg the worst traffic area in the country. Though this is the worst single traffic spot, the Washington, D.C. region was ranked the third highest area for overall traffic congestion after New York and Los Angeles.

Hugh Hefner, editor and creator of Playboy magazine, died Sept. 27 at the Los Angeles Playboy Mansion from a cause that has not yet been disclosed. Hefner was 91.

Wednesday night, Loudoun County hosted an opioid overdose training program in Leesburg. During the REVIVE! program, trainers with the Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services taught individuals how to identify and respond to overdose. Event goers were also given two doses of Narcan to take home with them.
