15 Northern Virginia events for a proper Cinco de Mayo fiesta

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in NoVA by learning how to salsa, listening to traditional Mexican folk music, sipping margaritas and Mexican-style beers or eating as many tacos as you can manage.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in NoVA by learning how to salsa, listening to traditional Mexican folk music, sipping margaritas and Mexican-style beers or eating as many tacos as you can manage.

Port City Brewing Mexican Dark Lager Release Party
May 5, 3-10 p.m.
Port City will kick off a new rotating series of lagers with the unveiling of its Oscura Mexican-style dark lager. It will be available in full pours and tasters at the tasting room or in growlers and crowlers. There will also be live music by Taylor Carson. // 3950 Wheeler Ave., Alexandria

Cinco de Mayo at Adventure Brewing
May 5, 5-10 p.m.
Adventure Brewing’s party will feature beer specials, live music, food from Fredericksburg food truck Juan More Taco FXBG and Daddy G’s Rockin’ Salsa. // 33 Perchwood Drive, Unit 101, Fredericksburg

Cinco de Mayo Festival
May 5, 5-10 p.m.
VA StrEats and Perfekt Blend will host this Cinco de Mayo festival featuring food trucks from across the region, including Chix N Stix, Heem Cuisine and Living La Chiva Loca. Cinco de Mayo Taco Night at Bazin’s Next Door
May 5, 5-10 p.m.

May 5, 5 p.m.-1 a.m.

May 5, 5 p.m.-2 a.m.

May 5, 6-9 p.m.

Taste of Cinco de Mayo

Circus de Mayo
