The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia in Fairfax County was vandalized with Nazi imagery and swastikas. Police believe it might be related to similar vandalism found at the Little River United Church of Christ in Fairfax.

Rolling Stone magazine settled with a former University of Virginia associate dean, who sued for defamation stemming from a discredited article about a campus rape, for an undisclosed amount.

While median house sales are rising in Northern Virginia, Arlington was the only county to experience a decline, down 6.2 percent in March as compared to that time a year ago. The decline could be attributed to a rise in the sales volume of attached homes like condos and townhouses.

Lee or Stonewall Jackson or any hero of the commonwealth of Virginia,” Corey Stewart, gubernatorial candidate and Prince William Board of County Supervisors chairman, said at an event over the weekend. “I’m proud to be next to the Confederate flag.”
