1. SworkIt Kids: This app provides great workouts in a timely manner. Select a workout for any part of the body and choose how long you plan to work out (the lowest being just five minutes.) Now there is SworkIT Kids. which includes fun exercises that cater to your young ones. // Free on iTunes or Google Play; recommended for kids ages 7-14

2. Nike + Kinect Training: Put the Xbox to good use with the Nike+Kinect training game. This program provides you a four-week program designed specifically for you. It also keeps track of your progress and provides step-by-step instructions like a real trainer would. // Available for purchase on Amazon

3. Nickelodeon FIT: Your children will love seeing their favorite characters work out with them in Wii’s Nickelodeon Fit. There over 30 games to choose from with characters such as Dora and Diego and the Backyardigans. Parents are also able to program different exercises for their children while also keeping track of their progress. // Available for purchase on Amazon

4. Just Dance: Disney Party 2: Just Dance has been around for years and shows no sign of stopping. Get your kids moving with hits from their favorite Disney Channel songs and movies. This game provides interactive dance sessions from sets that look like their favorite shows or movies. You will definitely want to join in with this one. // Available for purchase at Target

5. Cosmic Kids Yoga: Just when you thought yoga might not just be for everyone, Cosmic Kids Yoga provides easy to learn yoga exercises just for kids. Cosmic Kids Yoga is used all over the world and provides a new yoga adventure every month with a new yoga posture every Monday. Best of all, it’s free. // Recommended for kids 3 and up

6. Fitness Kids: This app caters to children by helping them understand the importance of exercise while also having fun. There are multiple difficulty levels that motivate kids to strive to do better every time.
