Massanutten Resort has added a new hotel and expanded indoor water park, called ShenandoaH2O. The hotel is scheduled to open in October, and the water park is expected to open early 2027.
The new hotel includes 140 guest rooms, including king and double queen rooms, themed king bunk rooms, and two- and three-bedroom suites for larger groups. Guests will also find a signature restaurant and lobby bar, meeting and event spaces, an outdoor gathering area, a pool, and a retail outlet.
The expansion also includes a 25,000-square-foot addition to Massanutten’s indoor water park. It features additional pools and private cabanas. It will also have two new attractions: a five-person raft ride and a three-lane mat racing slide.
“ShenandoaH2O builds on everything guests already love about Massanutten,” said Steve Krohn, president and chief executive officer of The Resorts Companies, in a release. “By bringing the waterpark and a new on-site stay together, it creates a seamless way for families and groups to experience it all in one place.”
Guests can begin booking reservations for ShenandoaH2O later this summer.
