Aeromexico Offers Nonstop Flights to Mexico City from Dulles

The flights leave every afternoon, and the service generates millions to the local economy.

By Colleen Kelleher July 3, 2024 at 10:01 am

Aeromexico now offers a daily, nonstop flight to Mexico City that leaves at 5 p.m. from Dulles International Airport. The flights started July 1.

The Boeing 737 Max 8 flight out of Dulles is one of the cities where Aeromexico added flights as part of an alliance with Delta. The other two airports with Aeromexico flights are Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina and Tampa Bay.

“Each flight at our airport supports thousands of local jobs. In fact, the service on Aeromexico alone generates more than $24 million in annual local positive economic impact,” said Paul Bobson, vice president for airline business development with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.

Each flight has 150 seats in economy class and 16 in premiere. On board, there is free messaging, onboard entertainment, and complimentary snacks, meals, and drinks.

Once there, you can check out history, culture, and great dining.

Return flights from Mexico to Dulles leave at 8:25 a.m. daily.

The Aeromexico-Delta alliance means that there will be more than 90 flights per day between Mexico and the United States, according to a news release.

Aeromexico served Mexico City from Dulles from May 2012 to January 2019, according to the Washington Business Journal.
